The dilatance technology is unique and has no analogs.
EXPERIENCE OF SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL COOPERATION
In 1998-2010 a number of agreements on scientific and technical cooperation and implementation of the dilatance technology have been performed:
- 1998 – 2013 Xian Institute of oil industry (China);
- 2000 – 2003 US Department of Energy (Agreement № 1588);
- 2004 Protocol of the Coordination council of the development of production capacities of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Region in the sphere of industrial use of the dilatance technology (№12-07-2004);
- 2005 – 2007 Contract with OJSC “Gazprom” (Russia, Agreement № 1325);
- 2007 – 2010 Contract with OJSC “Gazpromneft” (Russia, Agreement № 19731).
OPERATIONAL READINESS OF THE TECHNOLOGY
The technology is fully ready for industrial use.
APPROBATION
The technology has been tested in dozens of oil, gas and water wells both in the CIS and in the countries of far abroad (USA, China) with permanent positive effect.
MONITORING
Many wells, treated using the dilatance technology, have been monitored within the period of up to 5 years. The results of monitoring confirm the estimated theoretical assumptions concerning its efficiency.
DURATION OF THE POSITIVE EFFECT
The monitoring of wells treated using the dilatance technology has shown that the average duration of the positive effect of increased well productivity is 2-3 years.
Long duration of the positive effect is due to the formation of a stable zone with a radius of up to 20m with changed physical and mechanical properties as a result of formation of a network of micro-cracks and pores in the area of dilatance treatment.
PREDICTABILITY OF RESULTS
Dilatance technology is the only method of intensification of underground fluids extraction allowing the prediction of the value of the expected positive effect after the treatment at the stage of designing.
INDIVIDUAL APPROACH
Each well is unique. Prior to the treatment using the dilatance technology, a complex survey of each well is performed, including standard and special-purpose laboratory research, used for the calculation of the method and volume of the explosive-pulse load and for determining the necessity and the method of well protection and the specific parameters of the explosive device of dilatance treatment.
RISK OF IMITATION BY COMPETITORS
High degree of scientific intensity of the dilatance technology is a serious obstacle for imitation by potential competitors. If the research of a technological analog of this technology is started today, it will take at least five-seven years to create a similar technology. This is a period of absolute technological competitive safety of the dilatance technology.
